In this assignment, we were asked to watch the video "What Does Music Mean?" by Leonard Bernstein and share our thoughts about it.

As I understand that Leonard Bernstein thinks that music is what you feel. Music is the emotions you feel inside while listening to chord. You need to concentrate While listening to music, we need to concentrate and focus only on the music and our feelings and find what the notes say. There is no limit to the emotions that music can make you feel, everyone has their own definition of music as everyone feels different emotions. You cannot describe the meaning of music because it is an abstract concept and has a very deep structure.

In this assignment, we compare and discuss these pictures.
In picture A there is a hierarchy establish by the tree and the tree stand out as central element. The wall frames the background of this picture. Also there is a figure and ground relationship wall is the ground and square opening is figure. Additionally picture A has a heterogeneous concept. In picture B, there is a homogeneous concept. Horizontal rectangles make rythm and with other elements they create a harmony. Picture B has similar figure and ground relationship as in picture A. The allignment of rectangular elements creates framing in picture B. Balance created by repetition of elements in the same picture.
