FINAL JURY & EXHIBITION

These are my model photographs from different perspectives

In our final jury, we were again asked to design a strategy, just like in the pre-jury. For this project, I chose a central strategy. I created volumes that focused around the center, with the main volume placed right in the middle. The surrounding volumes gradually got smaller as they moved toward the center. These elements came together to form a unified whole. While designing, I also used the concepts of hinge and threshold by simplifying my elements. I defined hinge as the connection points between spaces, and threshold as the boundaries or entrances that lead into new areas. By applying these ideas, I aimed to create a design where both the central volume and its surroundings work together harmoniously. This approach helped me explore the relationship between the center and the spaces around it, while also considering how these concepts influence the flow and movement within the space.

This is my jury poster that I created for both ARCH101 and ARCH111 courses.
